Temple Beth Israel Schnitzer Family Center
The ambitious, multi-phase project included a new, two-story, 32,000 sf chapel, auditorium, and administrative facility with underground parking, and a 15,000 sf historic renovation to the main sanctuary. Use of historically accurate materials and finishes was a requirement set forth by the organization and design team. The location in a historic Northwest Portland neighborhood required sensitivity to existing grounds and adjacent structures.
