Jones Farm Fire Station
The 13,500 sf new fire station, constructed for the City of Hillsboro is located just east of the Hillsboro Airport. Unique features of the LEED Gold facility incude a radiused metal roof system, a CMU/steel/wood-framed structure, and extensive use of sustainable materials. Project challenges involved working adjacent to a fully operational airport and installation of a new traffic signal on a major thoroughfare serving a well-known local manufacturer.
